Sorry for the week away, everything’s been insane here! Classes starting back and visiting home has put a little dampener on my sewing time, but I’ve still managed to do some things…

This is the finished William Morris quilt, beautifully modelled by my flatmate Beth. I made it with a jelly roll of fabrics I got a long time ago, plus some extra bits and pieces. It’s a fairly basic design with ditch-quilting, but it was really fun to make.

I’m working on a table runner design too. My Grandma got me a gorgeous fat quarter pack of red patterned fabrics, and I bought some Rowan cotton fabrics from Craftsy which I’m using as border and binding fabrics. Once that’s done I think I’m going to take a look at this tutorial for a round gathered basket- I need something to put my threads in on my desk!

I’ll be back on Sunday with a tutorial for a washbag. Watch this space!
